Designer Niche

In my ever long quest for fantastic vintage clothing I’ve come across this delight in recent times. Housed in the glorious building that is the Corn Exchange you’ll find Designer Niche, upstairs along with some of the other fabulous independents, and this one is not to be overlooked.
Whilst it plays host to the usual suspects, cosy thick woolens, quirky, bright prints and unique jewellery, it’s definitely worth the time to take a peek at what’s new. The lady working here has always been really friendly, and never makes you feel like you’ve to make a purchase, and I’ve often found a host of things to covet.
I bought a pair of black vintage suede court shoes here that have served me well, and not only were they rather cheap, they’ve lasted a lot longer than many a name brand pair, which only goes further toward the concept of vintage quality!
This is an ideal shop to browse in, not only for fashionable one-​off pieces, but gifts too as there’s always something affordable and delightful. It’s another gorgeous shop that raises the quality of the stall holders that have come back to the Corn Exchange and I know for certain I’ll be back for another look. Go forth and enjoy!
