Just had my tattoo done by tim and what can i say but thankyou for doing a cover up on the flower and doing a butterfly adding your expertise and skill i also had my mums ashes mixed in which has made the tattoo more special i had tried other tattooists but went back to custom which is where i will stay now. better the devil you know!!! The price was reasonable and i made an appointment i would definatly recomend custom tattoo

This is a review for Tim Brown who is a tattooist at Custom Tattoo.
Tim has been tattooing since 1976.
I knew exactly what I wanted and where.
Tim said it wouldn’t work as some of the lines were too close together.
Within a few minutes we worked out a tattoo that would work and I booked myself in.
When Tim had drawn up the tattoo he rang me up, I called in to have a look and approve it. As I was booked in for the next day. It was all systems go.
The tattoo I wanted was to be placed over my ribs which is a very sensitive area.
Tim recommended I use EMLA Cream to numb the area.
He said it would only last until the outline was done but he advised and I am glad he did.
Putting the cream on a couple of hours before and covering with cling-​film was messy, but I am really glad I did.
I got the cream from the chemist £3.11 a tube.
Tim kept asking if I wanted a break but we pushed on only taking one break.
It took 3 hours tattooing time.
There are loads of free advice and any touch up work which may need to be done, is all included in the price.
Tattoos may need touching up if the ink doesn’t take properly or if you accidentally knock the tattoo before the ink has permeated properly.
I was very impressed from start to finish.
A very no nonsense 5 stars.

A great tatto shop and does a very good price on individual pieces too. I took in a picture that I wanted copying to at least 3 shops, adng this one came out the cheapest. I was pleased with the result and recommend anyone who wants a tattoo to go here too. Several friends have gone on my recommendation and have been pleased with the results too.
