Visited here, as a bride-​to-​be, with my friend who gets married a year before me. We were there for her to try on dresses, though I was secretly scouting out the service and range for future reference! A lovely little shop, once you’re in it you completely forget the fact that it’s on main road!
They have a wonderful selection of wedding dresses and also a bridesmaid section upstairs (which I’m sure I’ll be back to visit for my own bridesmaids) but most importantly, the staff are completely attentive to you, willing to listen to what it is you like and suggest things you may not have even considered. Although my friend didn’t find her perfect dress, we were both really impressed with the service given by the lovely ladies at Confetti & Lace.

I’m currently writing a wedding day feature for a magazine so I came in here just for a bit of personal research really and to see what the shops were offering in the way of bridal couture.
I was met by friendly staff who were more than happy to chat with me even though I had no interest at all in buying a wedding dress.
The name of the shop suggests fun and frivolity and this is what you will find here.

I am absolutely loving the excuse to look at wedding dresses, I’m in no hurry to get married but I’d love the day, actually I could just confine my excitement to trying on the dresses, I have a habit of going through one of my friends wardrobes a putting her beautiful frocks on for a bit. May be I didn’t get a chance enough as a young’un.
Less formal and pretentious than some other shops Confetti and Lace seemed geared toward people who want to have a fun as well as spectacular day. Fancy dresses and more simple ones too with a wide range of designers and makes available to look at, and try on… yippee
