So the first time we ordered from chopsticks we were absolutely disgusted to find a used plaster within the brown paper bag that had our food in! We reported this to the local council who investigated the case. This incident happened a few months ago so one of my flatmates braved to order from them again a couple of days ago only to wake up in the night throwing up from food poisoning! So don’t go to chopsticks if you want to get food poisoning or an unhygienic used plaster within your foods packaging!

It seemed like fate. A broken fridge rendered the planned Thai Chicken Curry impossible; as we mourned the meal we looked forward to we found a new local delivery service in the area. Chopsticks promised ‘Chinese and Thai Finest Cuisine’ and the menu itself is certainly a well-designed thing of quality. «Hurrah!» we thought, our Thai cravings would be sated. The ordering process was fine and the food was delivered promptly. It was all nicely presented with cute touches like free chopsticks and fortune cookies. Sadly, that’s where the good stuff ends. Our Thai curries were virtually inedible and looked to never have even seen a can of coconut milk. They seemed to have used those MSG ridden gelatinous sauces that are fine for Sweet and Sour or certain Chinese dishes but not a Panang Curry. So, there are lessons to be learned here. For Chopsticks — don’t spend money on a fancy menu and leafleting push instead of getting your food right. For us — don’t let greed get the better of us and be impressed by a glossy menu without checking reviews on Unilocal!first
