Stopped in here on the recommendation of one of my wife’s colleagues. What the other reviewers have said is spot-on. This is a top-notch, traditional country pub. The food was excellent. Some of the best fish and chip’s I’ve had in the UK (fish was great and the chips tasted triple-fried; amazing). Great selection of draft ales and ciders. Nice staff and clientele (not standoffish even though we’re obviously not from these parts). I loved the big flag-stones in the pub and the open fire places; was cozy and inviting inviting. Everything felt rustic and authentic. Plenty of parking in the private lot.

One of the most amazing pubs I have ever been to. The Sunday lunch is equally as good. A really comfy, homely and cozy pub. The staff and the clientèle are incredibly friendly. They also have local beers and ale. Couldn’t recommend a place more!
