This Tesco supermarket has a cash machine, and a rotiserie for cooked meats, and a bakery for fresh warm bread including french loaves. A small area for personal items like toothbrushes, and shower gel. It had no de-​icer for the car today, but already has easter eggs on its shelves, in January. You don’t need a pound for the trolleys which is unusual in this day and age. You can get your lottery ticket here.

Tescos are usually much of a muchness, being a national brand. There is, however, something very cheerful, friendly and community-​minded about this particular branch. It’s surprisingly well-​stocked for a town the size of Langport and has a good range of products.
It’s maybe more expensive than Tesco in Yeovil (or maybe we are just seduced into buying better quality goods here). It even had a supply of Polish goods for the locals.
It’s a thriving place and definitely an asset to Langport.
