Herts Auto Tek

I have used Herts Autogas for a number of years now. They not only do LPG conversions (their original main business, I think) but also service air-​con systems and do general mechanical work on diesel, petrol and (no doubt) hybrid vehicles.
I must admit that I mainly started using them because they were near enough for me to walk to, but now I would not get my car serviced or repaired anywhere else. Richard runs a very professional team. My car always comes back working fine. They have all the latest diagnostic equipment that allows them to clear error codes and generally do a more thorough job than the main dealers. On the odd occasion when a very specialist tool is required they are able to use their contacts to sort out the problem without requiring me to have to bother going to the main dealer myself.
They are hidden away on the Nup End industrial estate, map as above. I had second thoughts about writing this review as I don’t really want them to get so busy that I have to wait for a slot but I thought that in the interest of the Knebworth economy I’d write this.
