Hob In The Well

One of the cheapest bars in town. Helpful staff and the other customers were friendly and chatty.
As the previously reviewer is from London its a bit unfair to dismiss a venue in a small town like Lynn.
Somewhere like London is obviously going to have many more venues with somewhere to suit everyone.
I certainly haven’t seen any toothless old sugar daddys there and most of the customers are in the 18 – 30 year age range.

The Hob In The Well is the only gay bar in Kings Lynn. That’s a real shame because it’s pretty terrible. The staff are great and the drinks prices are fare, its the atmosphere (or lack of it) that lets it down majorly.
The bar is either completely empty or filled with a small group of people who all know each other and make you feel unwelcome.
The people who go there are the gay people who for some reason didn’t feel the overwhelming need to move away as soon as they turned 18 to somewhere where a scene actually exists.
however, if its a toothless sugar daddy your looking for then your in luck.
If you are young and looking for people of similar ages and interests i suggest you head to Norwich or Peterborough
