Pizza Hut UK

My husband and I stopped off at Pizza Hut for their lunch buffet. It was about £6.99 each and all you can eat pizza and salad bar, so we thought we would try it out. The buffet was the smallest I’ve ever seen for a buffet and I’ve been to quite a few.
My thoughts: The pasta was soggy, overcooked and tasteless. My guess is that it was not properly seasoned and that it was made prior to that day, probably re-​heated several times, several days in a row. Really bad. The pizza was good, the pepperoni and hawaiian was quite good. There were only a couple pizza’s out, the two times I went to the buffet though, would have liked more variety. The garlic bread was bad, very tasteless and bland. The salad bar, had only 1 variety of lettuce, iceburg, but it was fresh. The croutons were stale. They must have been sitting out for along time. There wasn’t very much variety at the bar.
The ice cream bar, which they call their iconic ice cream bar on their website, was an absolute joke. The ice cream was melting before it even got into our bowls. The sauces were watery. There were only 3 toppings and my gummys were stale and rock hard, un-​edible.
Also, the layout of the place is bad, especially if your disabled. My husband uses a wheelchair and couldn’t get to the restrooms, because the only way was completely blocked by baby chairs and strollers. I think it would be best if they thought twice as to where they sit people.
Overall, the pizza was good, but not for the price. Don’t bother buying the ice cream. Would never come back to pay for stale, old food. That’s what I came away thinking about this Pizza Hut, stale and old. No thank you, this place is too depressing.

As always the price and the food was pretty good. And the staff were pretty good too. I love coming to pizza hut as your always guaranteed great service. There is plenty of parking space nearby too which is always a great bonus. Just remember to go quite early, so you’ve defiantly got a seat!
They are also going through a re-​branding process too, Pasta Hut.
