The Newland center is a must stop if you’re visiting Kettering. The Shopping centre houses many big high-​street stores which included: Boots, HMV, Poundland, T.K. Maxx, Iceland, Homebargins, Game. There is a store for all your needs here. Located next to Poundland, there is a Coffee store, so pefect stop to refuel yourself after browsing all those stores! The Newland center has it’s own mutli-​story carpark which when you take the lift down, your in the heart of the centre. The centre it’s self is very clean; has toilets which are kept clean also. Two cash machines are located within the Centre, one near the entrance of T. J Huges and the other opposite the entrance to T.K. Maxx. Wonderful shopping experience can be found here!

The Newlands Centre is not very big, but it has a good range of shops including a large TJ Hughes department store that sells lots of ranges. There are clothes shops, music and games shops, card shops, shoe shops, discount stores and others that I may have forgotten!
It has a clean and tidy image and there is a nice coffee shop area in the middle as well as a Crazy Udder milkshake bar.
On the whole, it is a good shopping centre, although the toilets are not too great, they always look dirty and are rather smelly.
It is situated in the middle of the Kettering high Street so it is easily accessible.

The newlands centre is a shopping centre in kettering town centre. It has a biggish range of shops including poundland, a shoe shop were you can get nice cheapest shoes, boots, wh smiths and more. I disagree with the person above the toilets are clean and not outdated. There are a few cafes in here which are alright. My best place in here has got to be the crazy udder which is a milkshake place with loads of cheap milkshakes, also sells a small slection of other food and drink.

the newlands centre kettering is a nice shopping centre, with free parking on sundays, plenty of shops but not too many so you are not wearing your shoes out to get around, a nice hmv, tk maxx, tjhughes and a large boots plus an adams childrenswear plus claires and game and gamestation, homebargains and poundland early learning center, clarks, poundland, whsmiths, an 02 shop, specsavers, clintons cards, dorothy perkins, a sports shop, greggs bakery, plus many more with the advantage that iceland, wilkinsons and argos are only just accross the road.

The Newlands centre is clean, tidy and functional. The choice of shops is average and could benefit with some new names but it is definitely better than the main shopping parade! The shops are a good mix of clothes, stationary and general household type shops. The café in the centre provides a good selection of drinks and snacks, although it is a little over priced! There is also Crazy udder and Bakers oven to choose from for refreshments. The shopping carts along the pedestrian area seem to be a lot better than previously providing an array of alternative shopping ideas. The biggest downsides are the following:
The awful toilets that are in serious need of revamping, particularly the baby changing area that is dirty and very outdated.
The cost of parking which is expensive compared to much better shopping centers that have a lot more there!

Some nice shops in the newlands centre, such as Priceless shoes, JD sports, Evans, newly moved Body Shop, Specsavers, Home Bargains, TK Maxx, TJ Hughes. Sometimes there are themes that go in the shopping centre itself like baby competitions, jewellery sales, perfume sales. In my opinion the newlands centre needs to be extended are it is a very small centre. There is a multistorey car park available with 3 floors and lifts to the lower floors. On sundays the parking is free but other days it will cost you about 1 for up to 2 hours, which is not bad really. There are plenty of seats available in the shopping centre for the elderly to sit and rest, there is also a café in the middle so that you can stop and have a cuppa. There Newlands shopping Centre is a nice place to shop and is safe, there are security guards wondering around so you can feel at ease or if you have any queries. The centre is very well decorated and is kept very clean! I believe the cetre is open from 9 until 5.30 and at christmas we have last night shopping where the centre and shop stay open until 9pm
