Nice place offering a variety of food much more than the other places to eat. More of a high standard pub food place rather than a restaurant but really reasonable prices and great service.

This place hasn’t changed too much since I came here 10 years ago, but that’s a good thing. Portions were great, quality of food was very good. I had the Steak pie made with local beef, mmmmmm! They were very accommodating to our constant demands (we asked a lot of questions — we weren’t being awkward, I promise!)
I can recommend the Slovakian White Wine, can’t remember the name of it but it was lovely.
It is a little bit away from the main town but its worth it.

Wenn man Hugh Town über die Church Road verlässt und auf die Old Town Road kommt, die Old Town Bay hinter Marks Tauchschule und Sea Safaries passiert und dann dem Küstenverlauf folgt, gelangt man an ein ganz besonderes Plätzchen. Tolman Café. Der Blick schweift über die Bucht und das offene Meer.
Nun gut, das Essen ist nicht Spitzenklasse, eher british standard, aber hier ist der Kaffee ausnahmsweise gut und die Bedienung ist ein Hit, sollte Andrew den Laden noch besitzen. Wir sind hier jeden Abend gewesen. Günstig, gemütlich, nett und ein Wahnsinns-​Ausblick.
Einen passablen Whisky gibts dort auch.
