I have reviewed other Indian restarants before and am often plagued by a very particular problem; I don’t like Indian Food. To be more specific; I only like Lamb Tikka, Nan Bread and Rice. Therefore my eating experience tends to be pretty similar whatever establishment I go to. You could probably take me to India, to the first Indian Restaurant of all time, or the most exclusive Indian Restaurant in the world where each meal costs £300 and my reply would probably be exactly the same, which is precisely«The rice was good, and the Tikka was nice. Could I get another water?». I like The Curry Emporium. I used to go there a lot. Much to my disappointment my parents and brother love Indian food, so every birthday or anniversary or other excuse, Indian food is on the cards. For years, Curry Emporium was the choice. the Emporium is fine; it’s pretty standard Indian restaurant durge. Friendly waiters, good service and nice food — with the customary hover-by-the-table-till-we-leave game at the end, which I particularly enjoy.
