The Railway Cottingham

Tried the bar which was tired looking and empty. Badly poured pint from bored looking barmaid. A country style band was playing in the more substantial lounge bar but there was a two quid charge on door.

You are always welcomed at this large friendly pub (& i would personally say one of the best in the area), the staff are great & have a laugh along with you.
You have the choice here of tea/​coffee here as your drink too so for those wanting a warm cuppa this is the place to stop off. They have quite a selection of lager & beers so your fav is bound to be here among them
They serve both hot & cold foods that are very good value & also often have special deals available
They have background music often playing on the eights nothing is on but there’s a juke box if this is not too your taste, tues is karaōke evening, thurs is quiz night & sat theres live music. And fot tv fans you can go out & not miss your fav prog/​match as there’s a huge screen sky tv to watch
