Great little coffee shop. Under new management since mid May and Jo, the new owner, is really nice. Loved the coffee and atmosphere. Looking forward to going back. Only point of issue was the huge menu to read through. Too much to choose from. Think a smaller selection of popular food with a specials board for variety would really finish a 5 star visit. Worth the detour going in to Hull.

I have tried several times to book for lunch for two here and have decided not to bother. The staff I have spoken to on the phone have been very rude and obnoxious. There are many coffee shops to choose from in the surrounding villages and all have friendly welcoming staff. I will give them my business and avoid this place in the future.

Heard this was a good place — coffee & food were fine, but service lets it down.
Lady behind the counter couldn’t be less interested.
Didn’t supply cutlery with the food, we had to ask. Charged me incorrectly too.
Why can’t coffee places up their game — even a smile would be an improvement.
