I went here last night for our Christmas party I don’t live in huddesfield so didn’t know anything about the place and I have to say that their premier buffet was the worst food I have ever had just pop down to your local farm foods and get their cheapest party food range and it would still be better than what we were served at £1295 I wasn’t expecting a royal banquet but cold roast potatoes and pigs in blankets wasn’t what I expected either. As a fun pub it maybe ok but as a restaurant definitely not. Sorry if you are about to go here for your Christmas party best advice I can give you is eat plenty before you go.

loved this place, went in for lunch this afternoon with my husband and 18 mnth old son, lots of stairs to get in but not a problemjust lifted it up with my hubbie! waitress was very friendly and the menu was nice and prices fab too! got brought a high chair straight away without even asking and she came to the table to take our drink and food order. food was of a good standard and my little boy enjoyed his kids meal too! will defo be going back soon!!!

Not the best bar to go to. Lots of stair so not wheelchair friendly at all. When it does get busy you cant get served at all. Not very big either, no real place to dance if you fancy it. It does have a seperate function room but even if that hasn’t been book out the doors stay shut. The staircase to the ladies toilets is very steep and it is a spiral staircase so not good if you have had a few too many or if you are wearing a skirt as many people will be able to see everything as you go up!

Apart from the steep narrow staircase, i love this place. The lunchtime menu is really good and the homemade lasagne is superb. There is a function room for hire and christmas bookings taken. On wednesday nights it is a student night so drinks are cheap. Bands are there occasionally

Easily one of the worst bars in Huddersfield. It has nothing going for it. Drinks range nothing special –lots of overpiced gassey lagers. Difficult to get sevred when it gets busy –staff don’t seem to mind this. Food normal pub stuff. Bouncers easily the rudest in Huddersfield. Lots of steep stairs(it’s on the first floor) possibly a nightmare when you’ve had a few. Seperate function room –good unsure if viable price wise but self contained and ideal for a orivate bash.

Quite a nice bar this I like all the rock memorbilia dotted around it gives the place a nice feel. The scary part in the winding staircase that leads to the toilets not a smart design when there drunk people around so ou’ve been warned be careful. Also have a nice food menu and a private function room upstairs too good for parties.
