Another great bar. Sometimes has live music playing. Slightly different to the other bars though but in a good way. Everyone is friendly and the staff are always nice and chatty. Have a lovely decked area outside with benches and heating. Also has a pool table and football table inside.

Wonderful bar. Was very nicely situated near to our old student building (St Peters RIP) and so was very handy for nipping in between lectures! They also do very good food that is good value for money. Attracts an alternate and young crowd so the bar also has a good atmosphere and good music, which makes a refreshing change from all the rent-​a-​bars which seem to be the rage these days. The Parish should certainly be commended for offering something a bit different. You could do much worse than spending a bit of time in here. A good start-​to-​the-​evening bar.

Used to be the Palm Springs but if you remeber that you are definitely too old to drink here unless you are a goth, punk, speed metal head or completely deaf. Avoid if you aren’t in your 20’s but the crows are always good natured as are the staff and always have lots of activities on –recent zombie march through town centre started here. Pool and table football tables. Stools along side windows for gawking at all the squares i.e. normal people. Different lifestyles, perceptions encouarged not of the above comments would be cause offence I am sure. Live bands occasionaly the Subways played here not that long ago.
