This branch of Sainsbury’s is basically in the Huddersfield city center, and I stumbled across here while struggling to park and ending a ½ hour search, by parking here. Parking is reasonable pricing, and I was told it was free on Sunday’s, which is good for both people shopping at Sainsbury’s and then going into the city center. Parking is located over 2 floors, with some underground and some outside, which is good as it provides backup if it is raining, which is a typical day in the north. The store is only relatively small and I didn’t notice a café, which is rather unusual considering what I’m used to with my local branches, at Oldham and Heaton Park. They is a reasonable selection of most foods here for a store of its’ size, including an impressive gluten free non-frozen selection, including a good range of gluten free noodles, with both Kabuto and It Su being stocked on a separate isle. They do also have a small, but reasonable set of highlighters, including a well-priced set of 4 highlighters for £1. This store isn’t the greatest store, and is a little store, but for a store in a city center, it is quite reasonable, and is probably one of the better places to park in Huddersfield, overall it is pretty impressive for a small store so I feel 3 stars is quite fair for this store.

Smaller brother of the second branch in Huddersfield –the other one is been made even bigger. Handy if you just want to pop in for a loaf or a bottle etc. Rooftop car park which is never busy but is patrolled and I think you get ninety minutes free provided you prove you have shopped at Sainsburys. Used to be ABC cinema. Opening hours a bit rubbish does not open early and does not stay open late. Usual offers deals etc little on the small side but still stocks books and dvds

Sainsbury’s is ma favourite UK supermarket. The discussed one in the second one in the town centre, there is also one opposite the University, which is much larger. This store is a medium sized supermarket with still a decent amount of items. They sell mostly food but you can also get a few kitchen items, DVDs and CDs, some magazines and newspapers and cleaning items. Inside the store is also a small tobacco stand. The staff is generally nice, but I have had once a problem with my debit card(which was Sainsbury’s fault) and once they didn’t want to sell me alcohol even though I am old enough(+5 years) and shown them a EU passport. That is why they only get 4 stars.
