My favourite chippy in Hove. They do all the usual tasty chip shop food, but also serve steamed cod with delicious home-​cooked sauces like black bean and garlic, or ginger and spring onion. I like that I can have something that’s not deep fried so I always go for the steamed cod and boiled rice. If you phone your order through they’ll have it waiting for you, and there’s always friendly service. I recommend Jade Well for a decent local chippy.
