Early morning flight. I mean *early* as in the airline hasn’t even opened up the counter yet! But once they opened, they moved through the waiting passengers quite efficiently. The flight to Istanbul was ok, but the food was insipid and uninspiring (especially as opposed to the delicious kefta/​meatballs they served on the return flight). I was pretty preoccupied with my upcoming business meeting so I didn’t miss having an enjoyable meal, but in any other context I’d have felt quite annoyed. Apart from that, not a very memorable experience overall, which makes it significantly better than a lot of flights I’ve suffered through …
