Really lovely, friendly pub this where the locals are always happy to see a new face. The staff and management can’t do enough to make you feel welcome too and they really do put on some great nights. They offer open mic nights as well as live music and also a poker night! Only £5 buy in too!
They serve one of my favourite ales here — Hopping Hare which you don’t see in that many pubs near where I live.
The pub has a great beer garden for when the weather gets a bit better and also a nice big log fire for when it doesn’t! I’ve never had a bad night in here and nor has anyone I’ve taken along.
