Molly Malones

Molly Malones is my local pub and I love it. It’s a proper pub in my opinion and, as the name suggests, run on a bit of an Irish theme.
It’s situated on Nightingale road a little out of the centre of town but is well worth seeking out. The staff are very friendly, the beer is good and the whole atmosphere of the place is great.
They show the footie when it’s on and have live bands from time to time plus events such as party night on Halloween and New Year etc.
It’s not a particularly big place so it can get a little crowded at peak times. There’s a little courtyard out the back for smokers but you couldn’t really call it a beer garden.
Parking can be problematic around here but there are soem free parking slots across the road next door to the petrol station.
