Lars Granhed

This is the dentist we use for the entire family. Dr Granhed comes from Sweden (and speaks impeccable English and German too) and seems to have imported some high-​tech Swedish practices with him.
His surgery is, ironically, situated above a sweet shop (!) just off the main market square in the centre of Hitchin with some great views from the waiting room window. He’s NHS registered which can be a rarity these days though he does private work too.
He’s a lovely laid back chap who puts you at your ease — his surgery seems very high-​tech and his work (we’ve had everything from mundane fillings to full root-​canal work!) seems great.
He’s also very good with our children, reassuring, funny and they aren’t worried by trips to see him at all.
