The coffee and cappuccino are good. The service is sometimes slow but the drinks are worth the wait.

Waiting for an hour for my lover to land, and this was my choice instead of the other chain café opposite. Definitely nice relaxing chill out here with all my luggages and as it’s the exit for us both, it is both convenient and not bad for coffee. I mean, it’s not Australia and this is pretty damn good alternative to Starbucks(eiw). Service friendly as you can be even if other customers aren’t :-)

Welcome to the UK! If you proceed straight ahead after clearing Immigration, the first thing you will taste is a terrible cup of coffee. Not an auspicious way to begin your vacation. I truly believe something went wrong with my Americano, which was almost undrinkably bitter and full of coffee grounds. No one would make this cup of coffee on purpose. Yet the toastie was not bad at all. Very nearly a nutritious breakfast. All things considered, I won’t rely on Heathrow for my post-red-eye caffeine fix in the future.

Costa is conveniently located right outside terminal 5s arrival gate. They were really quick even though busy and the place was clean. The lattes are delicious here! I think costa is the Starbucks equivalent in the uk, they re everywhere!

Had to wait for someone for 5 hours and this place is like oasis in desert of Terminal 5. Has good variety of food and drinks. Very expensive but what do you expect in UK and that too at an airport. Staff is very nice and appears to be sensitive to deal with people from all around the world with confused choices. It has huge seating area and they dont ask you to leave once done with your drink. Always busy with people flowing down.

Exhausted from our flight into London, my sister and I were desperately in need of some good coffee. Being our first time in London, we happened to see costa coffee and decided to grab something to drink. For some odd reason I decided to get a grapefruit lemonade while my sister got a cappuccino. So glad for my lemonade because it tasted alright whereas my sister’s cappuccino was very disappointing. I guess costa coffee is like the UK version of Starbucks in the US. I definitely don’t recommend this place.

This is a busy Costa right at the exit of customs. The team here does a good job. Try the flat white.

Gotta a luv a place that’s open 24 hours in such a busy airport. The staff is professionally warm and very efficient. I was there in the wee hours the day before the Olympics began and they smoothly run a tight ship. Now, if the gaggle of suits planted smack in the middle of the line would just park their bums to the side… but it was 5:30 am and before I’d gotten my hot chocolate. Good muffins and the coffee smelled good and served to wake up the populace. In addition, they have a good assortment of packaged sandwiches in case you’re at a run.

When my husband and I arrived in London, we were tired, hungry, and somewhat suprised by the pouring rain outside. Thankfully, Costa Coffee was there to fill our bellies and warm our spirits. I snagged a BLT from their chilled grab and go area, and ordered a ham & cheese panini number for my husband.(The baristas were kind enough to heat the latter before bringing it over). We’d only eaten plane food during the previous 10 hours, so the fresh bread and sandwich fillings were quite welcome to our stomachs. Just simple goodness, really. I was also grateful to be able to donate my spare coins to a worthwhile cause at the counter.

13 hours after pulling into to the Seattle departures terminal, I safely arrived in London and made it through customs — shiny new visa to boot. Natch, I decided to celebrate with my drug of choice: caffeine. Laura: Hi… –sigh– I’d looove a skinny iced latte. Costa Lady: Ooooh sorry luv, no skinny milk. Laura: Ok, how about just an iced coffee? Costa Lady: Actually at the moment we don’t have ice either. Laura: Great. Coffee? Costa Lady: That’ll be one pound fifty. Damn it’s good to be back in London. Coffee, sans specific frilly requests like, I don’t know… ice. Anything less would likely have disappointed.
