I think that this is the longest standing Indian restaurant in Heswall, It’s definitely been there ever since I was about 4 or 5 as I remember the family used to go in here to eat and also get deliveries for there before another Indian restaurant opened closer to our house! Given that it’s still as popular as ever, and the fact that it’s been in Heswall so long, I think that this place has a solid reputation for good quality Indian food within the area! Although there are several Indians you can now choose from if you’re visiting or living in Heswall, I would thoroughly recommend this place! I would personally recommend the Tandoori chicken and the Shammi kebabs! They deliver for free within 5 miles as long as your order adds up to £10 or more, which I’m sure it will if there’s more than one of you scoffing!

Tandoori heaven! This place is old skool, and has been going for over 20 years. I am very much from the post modern elk, however I do love this place. You see there really is a big difference between the boring banality of the old fashion inclined and the rustic charm of the old skool persuasion restaurant. The pedantics amongst you will argue there is a fine line between the two, I would answer emphatically, NO there is a line. Old skool acknowledges the modern but is quietly content with being happily in the place it is in. Old fashioned is being rigidly stuck in old ways adamant of the superiority of times gone by!!! I’d highly recommend the lamb tikka Bhuna here. Freshly cooked with fresh Garlic, selected spices it goes perfectly with some pilau rice with which it is served. This really is a cute and cosy Indian in Heswell, that is sweet in nature and service. You will be warmly welcomed here and have a fantastic evening should you heed my Unilocalimendations!
