Great location and some of the meals are pretty reasonable and good value. However this is balanced out by the fact you get charged £4.25p for a bottle of Newcastle Brown. It is almost impossible to have a quiet drink what with the arcade and the chance of being accosted by a Haven rep dressed up as a bear. That said, if that’s your thing then you will go along way to find another pub in Cornwall so beautifully situated.

This pub would do a lot worse if it wasn’t for its location. Imagine a Wetherspoonsesque pub, that doesn’t serve real alein the middle of nowhere with an arcade inside. lots of children running around. Sounds awful doesn’t it? But then add an outside areaand. oh go on, put it on a clifftop with a view over sand, sea and coastline. Watch the sun go down with a drink of cider in your hand, sea breeze cooling your face. Is there any better feeling in the world? So I am understandably torn by this place as it is both awful and sublime. In the end this pub is well worth visiting for the view.
