called there yesterday and I must say I was very sad to find that the previous reviews were in my opinion were not true. As a qualified chef of 20 years I do not agree about the pastys they were tasteless and the meat content was practically nothing, I also bought a 10 0z sirloin which I believe was not tender and lacked flavour, will not be visiting again,

Best pasties in CORNWALL, proper ones like my old gran used to make, just LOVELY, good meat content and it just melts in your mouth. I drive a 50mile round trip to get one of these, so that just says how good they are .
The butcher side is just amazing, beef tastes like BEEF, not that non taste supermarket rubbish, this is a proper butcher who knows there trade inside and out .
As a cornishman born and bred trust me when i say you wont get a better pasty anywhere else .
