Beautiful place, very open and relaxing environment. The service was wonderful, the owner Clare came right to our table to make sure all was well, such a sweet and kind lady. The food is incredibly fresh and delicious, although portions are small it’s surprisingly filling. The vanilla chai tea was delicious and the scones with gooseberry Jam were phenomenal. Would love to come again! She even gave my table two different cakes on the house.

No. Ten Café was a life changing experience. Never have I been so moved by such service; upon entering the restaurant you are greeted in such a manner that makes you feel so at home. The menu has a diverse variety of sandwiches and drinks that are definitely worth trying. I came to try one of Claire’s homemade desserts, which are made downstairs. I ordered the No. 10 special scones, and they were the best I’ve had so far in my twenty-one years of life. The scones were the perfect balance of sugary sweetness with a pinch of salt that makes your heart warm with appreciation. Claire offers an abundance of jams that range from sweet to tart to rosy, which are absolutely fresh and delicious. At the end of our experience Claire offered us to samples of other items on the house because she felt that everyone should have the opportunity to try all of the things they would like. My heart was filled with appreciation for this small establishment and it was well worth visiting.

Ok — so we popped into here on a day trip to Haworth and after arriving and perusing around 8 potential tea and cake places, I really do feel we struck gold with this choice! They’re called a coffee house but they also have as equally as good tea menu and it’s amazing to see so many different blends on offer. The cake menu is also huge and all are baked fresh each day — in fact it was so good that I really wanted 2 slices but maybe my heart was pleased that that didn’t happen… All I’ll say is that the orange and almond cake was delicious and so so moist — yum! The real 5 star hero of this place though is the owner who was just really lovely! Very accommodating to our 2 year old daughter, she was also super friendly and welcoming to us — plus really went the extra yard by selling us some lovely ham for our picnic after all the nearby shops were shut — really nice extra touch and just massively genuine! I’d highly recommend this place if you’re in the area — it’s even worth a drive out to if you’re not!

My friend and I happened to spot this on the way back to our B&B. On first impressions it was so elegant and spacious. We pulled our chairs up to the fire, I ordered a(dark) hot chocolate which probably rates as one of the best hot chocolates I’ve ever had(I forgot to ask what the brand was, d’oh!)! My only gripe was the brownie, it was too dense and moist, more like a biscuit cake — almost like it was uncooked? Brownies are so varied though, so this just wasn’t to my taste. The friendly young waitress chatted to us and offered us a homemade biscotti, I was hesitant, as I don’t like the prepacked version, but this was divine! I only wish I’d bought some on the way out, as they have them to sell. Next time I’m back in the village I will seriously consider booking this B&B. Thank you for a wonderful final afternoon in Haworth! (Visited November 2012)

Best cakes homemade by Clare every day. A gourmet selection of coffee and tea. It is slightly eccentric but all part of a unique experience.

This is an oasis of calm in the old lady tourist trap that Haworth can sometimes be! It’s really chilled out, & serves the most amazing cakes I’ve ever eaten, & also has a great menu of different kinds of teas & coffees & sells great home-made chocolates. The only downside is that some of the tables in the back room are for 4, & if there are only 2 of you, they have a bizarre policy of telling you these tables are reserved, when actually they’re free, but they’d rather have 2 people sitting there rather than 4. This is fine when it’s not busy but when we went, there were no other tables available, so we had to wait for a 2 person table to come free, which seemed rather odd & made me wonder whether this place is starting to get a bit too profit oriented.

This is the best coffee house I have been to. Fresh coffee(many different varieties to choose from) and freshly baked cakes. If you are in a group and can’t make a decision which cake to have you can order the whole selection of cakes and then take home what you don’t finish. Fantastic place to relax, spend time with friends and enjoy one of the many choices of cafetiere coffee. The cream teas(with a choice of lemon curd, blueberry or strawberry jam) are my favourite!
