Royal Oak

Great Pub!
My co-​workers took a bunch of us here for lunch to experience a very traditional English pub. The Royal Oak did not disappoint. Both the beer and food was terrific. My fish and chips was served on old newspaper (a nice traditional touch).
The building looked very old from the outside and yet the inside was very clean. The entrance is located on the beach, and I mean literally on the beach. The water is actually a stone’s throw away. I’ve got to imagine the tide water rises up to the front door whenever a storm surge comes into town.
In the front is a nice long bar with many beers on tap. In the back are some separate rooms and the kitchen. We sat in a back room and it ended up working out great for lunch.
I’d definitely return again.

Tremendous establishment, especially after the refurbishment. All the staff is polite, I came here last night and ordered a Mackeral Salad with my family, the food was beautifully decorated even though how busy it was, the kitchen staff still put care in to the food I love this! The staff was wonderful! I was served by a short brunette women wearing a red badge that excelled at her job and gave great service. I will deffinetly be coming back again. Amazing selection of Whiskeys too!

Very atmospheric old pub, right by the waterfront. Have spent many hot sunny days sat outside watching the tide go in and out again!
Food is great too and very reasonably priced.

Top quality drinking establishment. Great location and good beer. Nice whisky selection as well. It is also cheaper than most.

This has a lovely setting and the food is out of this world! I walk from Warblington cemetary to here summer and winter, theres no where to park so walk if you can. There is a garden for the summer where you can eat and your kids can run around and play. i do love the food here — try the pie — its massive and reasonably priced too.
