T Mobile UK Retail

Apart from the fact that T Mobile’s coverage is way below the other networks in this country this head office is memorable only for how rude and unhelpful the people are who work at it. I used to work in the mobile industry and the people here would totally contradict what they’d told us about returns policy. If you buy a mobile through an independent shop you may NOT return it no matter what the reason is. T Mobile say you can even though they refuse to accept any returns from independents.
My major gripe, however, is with the attitude of T Mobile’s staff in this head office in Hatfield. The building is very swanky and hi-​tech and appears rather impressive from the outside. I had to meet someone here for business purposes and the ladies on reception were so rubbish at their job they had no record of who I needed to see even though I had a letter with all the details. They eventually managed to find the name and number but had so much trouble getting hold of the person it was hard to believe this was a communications company. Finally I was directed to a seating area and then when the person I was seeing came down they couldn’t find me as the receptionist forgot where they had told me to sit! After a few minutes I was ‘discovered’ and had a meeting that turned out to be a bizarre experience as the lady I met was so unpleasant and condescending to me it was obvious she thought it was my fault that she couldn’t find me. I sat aghast at the sneers and smarmy comments she made throughout our meeting — none of which were either relevant or necessary.
It was a day I will never forget and made me earmark T Mobile as a company to avoid at all costs.
