Twist

Twist is a family run business! My friend took me here for her birthday because her brother adores this place.
One side of Twist look like an American Diner, with the display of different coloured ice creams. The other side, which is the seating area has a Kenyan look with beiges and brown as it’s colour scheme.
We ordered a cassava dish, which had a brown sweet kinda of taste with red and green peppers, this dish was tasty plus we ordered cassava chips which was also tasty and had the same sauce as the cassava dish.
We ordered their desserts which they are known for, my friend said that the food snacks are new thing they have introduced. I ordered their Apple crumble ice cream on a crêpe, unfornataly this dessert was not great because the crêpe was more like a pancake and the quality of the apple crumble was poor.
The prices are reasonable, my friend felt the food snack prices were too much for what they were offering… it was around £6.
After we paid, Twist managed to redeem themselves because their Nutella ice cream which we were allowed to taste before we tried, was absolutely A-​MA-​ZING!!! I has to buy a scoop!
The manager also said to me a lot of their customer like the their crepes in a pancake style so when I come here next time I should just tell them I would like it thin.
Twist is In North Harrow, the area itself is nothing to write home about but for the sake of some delicious ice cream I can see myself attending Twist again.

Stepped in here for a quick dessert with the hubby.
Service was great. We had the strawberry and nutella waffle. It was tasty and the latte and the mocha we ordered were great as well. It was just a bit odd that the drinks came seperately and took a bit of time in between. To be fair; it was a bit busy and the girls were running around. So kudos to them.
Also the fact that everything seems to be eggless! which is great! Anyway a good quick go to. Would I crave it. not necessarily but it does the job.
