There’s nothing better than stumbling off the tube from a night out knowing that the kebab shop is right next to the station. Preston Kebab and Burger’s ideal location has been both a blessing and a curse to me over the years but my philosophy is as long as I end the night with a kebab rather than start the night with one then it’s all good. The shop not only serves up a great kebab but also chips and burgers to die for. The interior may be slightly depressing, plastic tables and chairs with one lonely fruit machine at the back, but this is typical of London kebab restaurants and nobody eats their kebabs inside anyway. No, this should be saved for the long walk home which you will probably not even remember in the morning, unless you asked for the chili sauce, then you definitely will.
