We visited La Tasca in Harrogate today at lunchtime 7÷8÷10. Had very poor service and waited 30 minutes with no drinks or any contact with serving staff. Complained to La Tasca when we got home and had a quick reply saying had problems due to staff shortage due to flu. Offered vouchers to try food there again. Will report on our next visit.

ok so it’s a chain but when there is an offer on it’s good fun. My friend and I went on a Monday when they had the all you can eat for 10 offer on. Yes it is only a small section of the menu but one can have chorizo, prawns, chicken, clamari, paella, meat balls and salad and a few more. The food was basic but ok. Throw in a bottle of the cheap house of a tenner and it was a very enjoyable and reasonable meal. I recommend the salsa on a Monday evening too

Part of the nationwide chain and situated on John Street which seems to be the place to be for a night out in Harrogate. Good range of tapas — I particularly like the chorizo in red wine, patatas bravas and chicken in garlic and white wine. House red wine was a bit ropey and the toilets are MILES away from the bar/restaurant — but overall an enjoyable experience. There’s outside tables for al fresco dining or the smokers. Salsa dancing lessons on Monday nights.
