A quaint little café away from all the busy humdrum of harrogate town… some of the waitresses i have to say are almost dismissive but the owner and the rest are absolutely lovely so full of hospitality Whilst you are there you must sample some banana and cinnamon cake(it was so delicious I crave it and i can’t find anywhere else that does it apart from here) The chocolate cake is also one to try, I haven’t yet gone through the whole menu but i can tell you that the egg mayonnaise sandwich, ham and cheese toastie, jacket potato, cappuccino, latte, are top notch(by the way i did not have all this to eat and drink in one sitting!) Now it’s not cheap but come on this is harrogate! Oh and it’s definitely one for the cat lovers!(there are cute little cat statues and figurines on display for one to see as they eat their meal)

I went here for lunch, having been here for coffee earlier. I was enticed by the sight and smell of the omlettes which other people were eating with gusto. as well as plenty of seating inside there are six tables lined up under the awning outside the window. I appreciated the fact that they let me sit outside for an hour doing Sudoku and watching the world go by, on just one cappaccino. the omlette came up to expectations when I came back, it didn’t just say it had mushrooms in. the chips were crisp and hot, always a good indicator of a places turnover and therefore popularity.
