cheap boozer open @ 830am so you can get out of your skull early and cheap all week long. few Wally’s get in there all day as they don’t work. food is the usual pint and fry up £3.00 when they open at 0830am so line the Guts and get on it. Burger and pint deals for £3.00 so that lunch done to. smoking at the main and only entrance so smoky welcome if you don’t smoke then unlucky i suppose. no music or SKY sports only news channel with no sound.

There is a good atmosphere in here on weeknights. Weekends can get a little busy with underage teenagers but thats to be expected anywhere now. It is a clean pub with a good food menu. During the day hot food is served quickly but friendly staff. The layout of this pub is nice, with the rear (away from the bar) being raised and accessed by a few steps. This usually seperates the people after a quiet drink from those looking for cheap alcohol at the weekends!
