Hands in Pasta is a brand new restaurant located in Hammersmith just on the edge of Kings Road. As the name suggested, this place is all about producing great pasta and other classic Italian dishes. Good Italian cooking is known for its simplicity and using the best available ingredients, and Hands in Pasta is exactly that. We started off the meal with some thinly sliced cappaccio, the lemon juice and parmesan added a nice level of sourness and bitterness which worked well with the earthiness of the beef. All the pasta are freshly made everyday on site. The texture of the gnocchi was seriously impressive, tender and smooth, finely seasoned with a bold taste from the fish ragu but not overly challenging. It was a well balanced dish that filled me up with joy. Lamb linguine was also great, again the seasoning was lovely and the linguine was silky smooth. The head chef, Anna from Saronno is a pasta wizard. Price is very reasonable with a set lunch menu and most mains for dinner costing around the 10 pound mark. The only real competitor in the area is L’Amorosa but then, the cost over there is sightly more premium. Hands in Pasta is truly a hidden gem in Hammersmith, what a fine addition.

This is some of my favourite Italian food in London! It is really good, space for kids to play, but you don’t feel like it is a «kids restaurant.» I went with two friends, no kids, and it was really, really nice for adults as well. Great service, very high quality food at a good price and a very cool location in a converted house!
