I like this pub. It is very quaint, established in 1563. A large selection of whiskey to tempt the whiskey admirer. The food was excellent, I had a 8oz sirloin, with mushrooms, tomato and salad. A little on the pricey side for the dish but I have to say cooked to perfection. Yorkshires best food pub in 2007. Well worth a visit to this hidden jewel of Bradford. Enjoy

This has to be one of my favourite places to eat. fantastic village pub which serves food of a very high quality but it is reflected in the price. however after a cold dog walk the snug is a lovely place to warm up in front of the open fire with some comforting food. does allow dogs in the snug area which is nice(unless your dog is big and clumsy like mine). They do have a restaurant facility in the back of the pub which is nice alternative but much more of a dressed up affair for eating out.

nice village pub, that does very good food, although could do with a little bit of tidying up inside, not to say its not welcoming, not at all, this is very welcoming. it has a small“snug” area to the right as you enter, the bar is just to the left and the eating area up about 3 stairs to the left of the bar. as i have said the food is good, but a little pricey for a pub, however this is presented very well, and tastes good. they have an early bird menu from 5 til 7pm. which consists of 3 starters and 3 mains plus glass of wine from the main menu for just under 12 quid, this aint too bad there is seating outside, and you look over open fields, very nice on a summers day, if you lived in a small village and wanted a local pub, this is the kind you want.

Good food and drink. This is a nice traditional pub with a good resturant. I would recommend dropping in for an afternoon pint or going for an evening meal with friends you want to impress The early bird before 7.30 is very good value offering 2 courses and a glass of wine for £10. The rest of the time the food is considerbly more expensive.
