Visited IL Gusto for our wedding anniversary. Its quite a large restaurant but for some bizarre reason, the 4 couples that were there were all seated in one tiny corner. The menu is pretty much what you would expect from an Italian all the typical pasta dishes plus pizza’s and some chicken dishes. There were also 2 veal dishes, one of which my husband chose, only to be told on ordering oh sorry, we’re out of veal. maybe this should have been pointed out when we were given the menu’s? The food was ok, nothing spectacular though. The chairs are incredibly uncomfortable and were actually hurting the back of my thighs after about an hour. All in all, it was an OK meal but for a main town centre restaurant, I feel they need to liven up their menu and get some better chairs!!!
