Even though this is a Wetherspoon’s it still has the feel of a true local pub with loads of pictures on the walls showing the development of the town of Halesowen over the last 200 years. It’s pannelled in wood and has a great atmosphere.
It shows most the important sports games on a couple of plasma screen tv’s (although often without the sound)
Of course being a wetherspoons and also not being in a city centre means that the price is very good with some pints being under £2. And the food is very good by wetherspoons standards
It has easy access to take-​away food and Halesowen town centre and the staff are mainly local and very friendly.
