A typical greasy café, but one that my friends and I love to visit, especially after enjoying a few drinks the night before.
Five mixed grills are usually ordered and costing £5.50, you can see why.
The service there is pleasant and the portions are more than satisfying. If we ever have the energy to make it out of bed before midday, Rainbow Café is more likely than not, where we will end up.

Massive menu! I mean MASSIVE! To be fair — it’s all just variants on the usual greasy spoon /​sandwich offerings you would expect, but standing outside you’ll be bombarded by the many signs — handwritten and printed — shouting about the different meal deals and options available.
It had been a long miserable day, and I wanted some comfort food so nipped in and got myself a cone of chips — pretty greasy, but sometimes that’s just what you need — and for 99p I’m not going to complain!
