Pavilion on Broadway Market is the bakery arm of the Pavilion Café in Victoria Park. It sells bread, a couple of simple snacks and coffee. Just like the original space in Vic Park, the coffee is excellent, and the bread is so, so good. They have rye, sour dough, and all sorts of really great breads with seeds all over them. I know it’s just bread but it’s the kind of bread that barely needs butter(but all bread needs butter). The snacks involve cookies and some simple sweeties and the most amazing samosa ever. To be honest, they aren’t really samosa but as they are filo baked pastries but they are seriously tasty and a good bridging snack until the next meal. Highly recommended is the mushroom and goats cheese. Mostly a takeaway type venue but there is one big table out the front that, if you are luck enough to pick up, is a great people watching spot.
