The food is great and the prices are very good. There isn’t a lot of tables so it’s better to order for delivery. Great restaurant.

The most authentic Greek takeaway with incredibly fresh ingredients. The greek salad has the most delicious feta and scattered around the shelves are a few imports such as loux sodas and ion chocolates. Very friendly staff that were efficient and coped well with regular telephone orders as well as walk in customers while we were there.

Even when compared to similar stores in Greece, the food at Meat the Greek is amazing, fresh, cooked to perfection and well presented. The place itself is quite small and is mostly fitted out for take-away and home delivery business but the castle benches are only a few steps away if you cant find a table.
A bit on the pricey side from the average kebab shop. But considering they only import high quality meat & authentic ingredients I am more than willing to pay for it. Apart, from the standard items (gyros, souvlaki, grilled menu) they do also serve Greek sweets, salads and they make frappes.
Finally, it is worth noting that they just changed their website and now you can customize the items you are ordering.
A few more things to note are: Close time is now 22:15, minimum delivery is £8 and the delivery time is about 30+ minutes
