Texaco

This is quite a nice garage near Hollingworth Lake, it is run by Texaco with a Spar shop, which is actually quite big.
Of course, with the Texaco brand, the petrol prices are pretty high compared to the likes of Tesco, Sainsbury’s, ASDA and Morrisons — who are either the cheapest for petrol (ASDA) or have great discounts for loyalty card members.
They have a Starbucks On the go machine here, which is well priced, cleans its self and makes a good coffee.
The store is quite a nice one too, much nicer than some Spar shops I have seen.
It is quite a big garage with some parking.
It can definitely serve as a corner shop for locals nearby, and do a much better job than the BP Alkrington Service Station near me, which I use as a «local corner shop»
Before giving this store a higher rating, I do want to have much more of a look around at the products and the petrol prices to be more competitive but for now I feel 3 stars is very fair.
