Although the setting looks inviting and confortable for an airport café, there service could not be worst. Uninterested and unmotivated waiters, texting on their phones… endless time to come to your table, we asked for an ice cream at the ice cream bar and the lady told us… Please ask at your ta le to the waiter… I’m writing this review for 10 minutes now… and still no waiter came! To avoid!

Terrible food and service. You’re probably better off getting a sandwich at tescos. At least you won’t have high hopes. Firstly I ordered a flat white, they brought me a latte. Ordered sicilian orange juice, they brought regular orange juice. But at this point i was still willing to overlook everything. Then my breakfast came. I was quite impressed that it was so fast but i suppose there was a reason for that. Eggs benedict with a hollandaise sauce that looked like it came from a tub. They probably had everything cooked already and they just took the plates out of the kitchen. When i tasted it the food was cold, fantastic! Not even lukewarm. The waiter said he’ll talk to the chef(HA! Chef). He came back with the same plate microwaved. At this point i gave up cause I realised they have no idea how to run a restaurant. Also took them almost 10 minutes to bring me the bill even though the place wasn’t that busy. Just wish i read the reviews beforehand.

There’s not much to say about this place in a positive or negative sense. It’s not so much a restaurant as a small stand to grab a coffee. There aren’t any tables or chairs so don’t even think about staying longer than it takes to get your coffee. The places runs pretty efficiently and you’ll have your coffee in hand in less than a few minutes. This could be a good or bad thing depending on how desperate you are for coffee or how quickly you need to get to your gate. Overall, the place doesn’t stand out(hence the three stars)! The coffee is average if slightly overpriced, but hey everything in airports is overpriced! I had to write this review immediately as I’ll probably forget the name of the place before I get on my flight.

Difficult to rate anything in the airport to highly considering that straight away they are likely to lose the points because they don’t exactly offer you bang for your buck. The café offers all the pastries and cakes you could ask for and good selection of coffee to wash it down. The venue itself looks classy and elegant but lacks some seats. They have a few tables designed for standing but could definetly do with some chairs. I ordered a hazelnut hot chocolate which was served with a praline chocolate inside. It was 4⁄5 on flavour and the staff were pretty quick serving it and more then happy to fix my order when someone added cream to the order by mistake. I would reccomed them for drinks and the quick food options looked equally as good.

Asked for a flat white which is not on the menu. Was told no problem, £2.85. Watched the barista pull a shot and then dump a jug of lukewarm and previously steamed milk over it in about a second. Not a flat white. I asked if she could make me a proper flat white and was met with arrogance citing that was a flat white. Hate to be that guy but if you’re going to make a coffee that someone asks for, the least you can do is actually give it a shot. I asked who showed her how to make it that way and she wouldn’t answer. Finally after some sticky back and forth she finally said«well what do you want then?». Too late as all I wanted to do was walk away. It’s a shame too as from the outside it looks like it could be a legit coffee spot. Decent grinder and machines, but the staff are poor. I believe this was the manager also.

Horrible service at this location. The cashiers all appear confused and should not be working at an airport location if they cannot get people in and out quickly.

With no time to eat before rushing to Heathrow, I found myself looking around for a little sit-down café for a bite before my(looonnnggg) flight back to Seattle. Found Ca’puccino and thought«ahhh yesss…» Service is definitely lacking. It wasn’t too busy, yet the host kept me waiting over five minutes before squeezing me into a row of what looks like all the single diners even though there was plenty of space throughout the restaurant. It was confusing to determine who my server was because 1) I barely saw her and 2) no one told me. Being someone who doesn’t eat a lot in the morning and not wanting to waste food, I ordered off the kid’s menu only to be told no. Which sucked, but had to eat so… I ordered the Florentine Benedict and a Caffe Bircirin da Torino(their version of a mocha, I was told). The spinach on the benedict was bland and barely warm. The only thing I liked about it was that they used focaccia instead of an English muffin. I think it was sitting out for a while because the bread was hard where it wasn’t underneath the eggs and spinach and soggy were it was. Clearly, it was done long before the 15 minutes I waited. The Bircirin was absolutely amazing. I loved it! The only crappy part was that it didn’t arrive until I was almost done eating. Don’t know if I’d go back to eat, but I’d definitely swing by the to-go coffee bar and grab a Bircirin! Tip: they DO take both euro and pounds, so if fi you need to unload your extra change before coming back to the States, definitely take advantage of it!

Food was just ok, no flavor although it was well presented. Service was terrible, glasses were dirty and had foreign objects floating in it. Got my drink 5 minutes after my food. And was ignored after that.

Ca’puccino is a good place in terminal 2 to drink coffee and pick up a sandwich or pastry while waiting for your flight to board! 1.65 for an espresso, 2.40 for a capuccino, they accept euros in both coins and notes

I was actually quite surprised by the number of negative reviews for this place. I had a long layover in Heathrow and felt that I needed coffee. this place looked very cute. They sat me down quite fast. I didn’t want too much to eat so I just ordered a caffe tiramisu, since this looked unique to me, and a apricot croissant. The caffe was absolutely delicious. It is not as much coffee as it is a dessert. It was espresso topped with a whipped tiramisu layer. The croissant was also good, flaky and soft; the apricot filled was small but just right. Now I did take off one star because the service was very slow. However this seems like it was probably a understaffing issue.

The first time my husband has not finished a cappuccino. Took one sip and left it. Pastries stale as well. Open a Starbucks instead.

One of the worst espresso and focaccia(greasy!) I ever had. The focaccia came with a little hair on top: yuck! Service was extremely slow and it took an eternity to be acknowledged, to order and to pay.

Right in the airport next to all the stores. It was a quick stop for coffee and a sandwich. The Americano was amazing and sandwich was so fresh. For the airport would totally go again.

Let me start by stating that there is ONE coffee shop in Terminal 2(departures). One. This in itself is unacceptable. The other thing that is unacceptable is the design and division of the Ca’puccino coffee shop space. There are two«sides» to the space, separated by a wall. At the bottom of the escalator is the take-away side of Ca’puccino. There is limited seating(4 tables) and all coffee is served in take-away cups. Having descended from security via the escalator, the take-away bar is the only side of Ca’puccino that we could see, so we got in the queue and ordered. After we ordered and claimed our drinks(the woman behind us got her drink before I did even though we ordered the same drink aside from regular/skinny), we walked toward the general terminal seating area and noticed the other side of Ca’puccino with plenty of seating available so we walked in and were bombarded by a hostess who asked what we wanted and we said, «to sit down» and she said, «take-away» coffee is next door. Duh, I thought as I stood there holding my take-away coffee that I literally just purchased from the very business who was essentially kicking me out of their space. Needless to say that the large side of Ca’puccino(the one with the comfy looking chairs) is reserved for people who wish for table service. If you buy their coffee around the corner and attempt to sit in the«table service» space, you will be denied just like my husband and I and the 20 or so other people I have watched get turned away as I pound away on this review. Furthermore, the chairs and tables are so close together, I’m not sure how anyone would be able to get to a table in the middle with their carry-on luggage or even shopping bags. The layout of the space and type of furniture looks cool but it’s not conducive for a coffee shop in an airport. I’ve never seen such a stupid and ridiculous division of space for a single business in my life. The worst part is that I would have much rather consumed my «just OK» coffee out of a ceramic mug instead of the paper cup from the take-away side. And as I finish this review, I watch and group of four people get turned away and directed to the take-away bar because they wanted«coffee only.» Utterly ridiculous.
