During the Week this pub/carvery is ideal for a cheap hearty meal out. It can get quite over crowded, but the food is usually good and at very good prices. Thing to Note: 1) Cheap«all you can eat» meals available 2) Vegetarian options available 3) Wheelchair accessible throughout most of the building with toilets. 4) Join their Facebook page before you visit to get money off vouchers 5) Avoid Sunday Evenings(see below comments) 6) Child friendly but no indoor facilities other than baby changing, highchairs and a claw machine.(I believe there is a children’s play area outside) This being said we went on Sunday evening and were very disappointed the drinks were flat and had to be returned(without an apology from the server), The food had obviously been on the carvery side for quite a while and had deteriorated in quality and were quite honestly not very nice. You pay more on a Sunday to eat at this pub and I will never go there again on this day, but that being said I have never had a problem during the week with the food.

My partner, myself and our toddler went here for a change and i was quite pleasantly surprised the pub was pleasant, staff were friendly the food was nicealthough the big roasties were a tad hard(go for the smaller ones) the pie choice of chicken and ham was nice, will be taking the full family next time.

Most excellent. Quality carvery, very inexpensive prices. Well done this pub chain for offering value for money without compromising on quality. Great choice of meat(s) and vegetables not over cooked. They have even started offering an ‘extra large’ carvery for £1.50 extra for those with a larger appetite. Other pub chains should take note and reassess their’weight contolled’ portions. Good range of beers, many available under special offers.

A superb cavery dinner, i have only been on a sunday so i dont know if they do them all week. Its always full and usually have to wait in the bar for a seat aprox 10minutes. Although the wait, the food is exceptional with as many roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings as wanted rather than the compulsary 2. Also 3 slices of meat in which can all be of the same meat or any combination of the 3 meats on offer.(turkey, beef and pork) With wheelchair and pushchair friendly doors that have direct access to the carpark makes it ideal for the whole family. In door and out door area so you have a choice of eating in the cold rain of Grimsby or the heating of The Hainton Inn its self. There is no particular dress code although i wouldnt arrive in a tracksuit as you will look out of place. Although on the other hand, i wouldnt arrive in gladrags or you would also look out of place. As far as i am aware there only forms of entertainment are a few flat screen t.v.‘s and pool tables. I do know that at Christmas they do 3 corse dinners with live entertainment. I have no idea of special occasion prices but for your carvery it is about £6.
