I have to this day no idea how I or anyone else stay awake when visiting this pub, as it’s so warm and comfortable on the inside. Just want to curl up around the fire and fall asleep. Really a fantastic place — epic outdoor seating for the warmer days, and plenty of room inside in unique rooms with a touch different feel each. Food is high quality and people are superbly friendly. Drink is, of course, free-flowing. This is the pub to pass through if you only hit one in Wrexham, but let’s be honest, if you’ve made it this far, odds are you’re hitting more than one.

A delight location, food, service all superb as a norm Lovely location, welcoming staff, interesting guest beers, good atmosphere and tasty food. What more does one want in a country pub? A balanced menu(favourites with interesting innovations).Food is as good as the varied menu suggests. Generous portions. The staff are always warm and welcoming making it a great venue for when one simply decides to pop out on the spur of the moment rather than cooking at home. Well worth repeated visits.

Very nice food when we figured out how to order it and it arrived. — good job I was relaxed an cam on this day — because we had to wait for quite a while until the food order was taken and it arrived. Staff could do with uniforms as they were not easily identified — service was ok — but could be more attentive. every cup of tea came with a mini chunk of caramelized flapjack, yum yum. Menue is creative but totally edible — no wired stuff but combinations that you would not have avery day are available to tickle your taste buds. The sunday roast is huge — could be shared. Salad came with really nice grainy bread. Dessert was delicious, nearly had another… bill was reasonable around £32 for two meals 1 dessert and 4 times tea. When I am visiting the area again I’ll be back.

We’ve been coming here for over 12 years now and in that time have only ever had one meal that was not perfect. Their game pudding is a masterpiece of pastry meat and gravy!!! Their Sunday roasts — especially the Yorkshires, are fantastic. It’s a bit ovepriced for a pub but well worth it because of the quality of the ingredients and the variety of the menu. One cloud on the horizon? They appear to be running out of regular guest beers a bit too often? Can be a problem when you have to travel to get there! Most of the staff are well trained, friendly and informative but some of the newer ones recently can be a bit glum! Best wine list of any pub in the area — apart from the Grosvenor at Aldford which is in the same group.

A pleasant pub restaurant that does seem to be the place to take out-of-towners to show off one of the best places little Wrexham has to offer. Good range of real ales and a lovely building if a bit busy.

Very nice setting, lovely in the summer as it has big gardens near a river. Food is usually really good, although sometimes can seem quite expensive, especially if you just pop in for lunch. Id recommend the Steak burger and the lamb kofta starter. Sunday roasts are very nice, beef always very pink which I like. Do a fantastic chocolate brownie, unfortunately not always available as the menu is different nearly every day. The only real criticism is that the staff dont have uniforms so you cant always tell who is working, and that you have to order everything at the bar, would make the standard so much better if there was table service. I would also like to see some more steaks available, usually seems to just be a rump on the menu, would be nice to have more choice.

I always enjoy heading here. It has a great atmosphere, and the staff are always smart & welcoming. Great garden on a sunny day too. It does get very busy on bank holidays though.

Been there once and really liked it. Nothing else to say, I like it. No need to comment further.

The Pant is consistantly regarded as the best pub in Wrexham. Set in a location that seriously discourages passing trade, it is a mark of the pants quality that it is nearly always buzzing with atmosphere. With a roaring fire, a number of nooks and crannies to drink in as well as an expanse of garden to sit out in, the Pant has something for everyone. There is a huge range of drinks to be had, a number of draft ales and a good winelist. The food can be more expensive than some of its competitors however the quality of what is on offer makes a meal at the pant one of the best value for money places in Wrexham. Great burgers for a snack excellent steaks and sunday lunches and an exquisite vanilla panacotta. Well worth repeated visits.

The Pant Yr Ochain is a fantastic pub. Everyone that I know loves it! Whether you are going for just a drink or a meal it is always a nice place to come to get out of the town centre to a lakeside location. Although it is not too far away from town to mean that its expensive for taxis. The pub itself is a huge manor house that it really expensively decorated. I love eating here. Typical of brunning and Price the food is a little overpriced but I have never had a bad meal and I definately recommend the coronation chicken sandwhich with an extra side of handcut chips. If you live in wrexham you must go here at some stage, in my opinion its the nicest pub in wrexham.
