I am a personal stylist and enjoy taking my clients to their now preferred high end quality shop Hobbs, not only because of the clothes, the colours, the display but their feedback to me is that the ‘staff are brilliant there’. This makes such a huge difference for the return of future custom.
Other department stores and boutiques could take a massive leaf out of this particular branch up and down the UK.

It’s so lovely to go to Hobbs and this branch in Bluewater is no exception. The staff are friendly, keen to help and really enhance the shopping experience.
This branch has two lovely big leather sofas with lots of newspapers and magazines so people waiting while you try things on can sit and relax in peace.
There is also a Hobbs concession in John Lewis but this is the place to go first in my opinion.
