Beefeater

Nice friendly atmosphere and staff, very attentive to your needs. The food came with a nice interval between courses. My steak was cooked just as ordered, and you can’t beat bottomless chips, coffee and soft drinks.

Elegant modern environment and professional service. Judging the Beefeater for what it is and not what it is attempting to be, this is really not a bad restaurant. The offers are very good if you want excellent food on a medium budget and there is plenty of dietary and ingredient information available if you ask. Good for a reasonably cheap couples meal or family dining earlier in the evening.
The staff were very efficient, if slightly cool, but the food was worth it and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Imagine when it is very busy that the tables are slightly too close to each other, but other than that I would recommend.

Not a bad place on a par with most other pub /​food chains. Staff are helpfull and polite. The big downside of this place is the fact you can only get here by car or taxi, You can walk if you wish but it means risking your life walking along slopped grass verges with 60+ MPH traffic flying by

Have been here a few times and the food has always been delicious. I have noticed that sometimes they are a little short staffed and therefore not performing well at every opportuinity (hence the 4 stars) I loved the steak, cooked to perfection and also the feta cheese fajita if fabulous. The staff are really nice and attentive, they get to keep their tips so this is a great motivator. The supervisors are ready to listen if you have a problem (cold onion rings) and dont charge for things you are unhappy with. The restaraunt is clean and light and even though it is large, the booths and tables can create an cosy feel. I paid around £25 for two courses for 2 people which is excellent value for money

had lunch there over christmas. Place was so busy had to wait half hour for table. Fish was really overcooked and had I not been with kids I would have sent it back but did not want to wait for fresh meal. Spent £20 on 2 drinks and one fish and chip meal and one nugget and chip meal. Will be quite some time before i go back. Only gave 3 rating as place itself is nice and staff though busy were cheerful and helpful

This only opened, apparently a few weeks ago. It’s in the middle of nowhere for the time being as it’s on a new business park, and as with lots of beefeaters, is built next to a similarly new Premier Inn.
Nice, clean décor, not very exciting but fine for what it is. Menu looked interesting at first, they pride themselves on their chargrill selection. I chose the mixed grill. Salad very boring and the meat selection run of the mill. Didnt set the heather alight, as you might say, but then again you dont go to beefeaters to eat fantastic food. no particular care on presentation.
service was okay, found the waiter bit annoying. they are also, generally clumsy (or maybe just because they were busy and all new) as we heard plates crashing down twice and saw/​were told that customers were covered with food.
also need to take more care with keeping place tidy. food on the floor just outside the kitchen hatch was noted.
thought it was bit expensive for what it was though i saw that they have special deals for weekdays.
