A very tired, in desperate need of renovation, motel. Friendly staff can only make-up so much of a difference for dirty and well worn appearance of the public areas, and beds that have a dire need of new matresses. Only worth staying at due to its location and often bargain basement(forgive the pun) prices. Heaps of nicer hotel options nearby if you wish to pay more. Travelling on a low budget on a college trip, we certainly got what we paid for. Travelodge in Belfast was much newer and therefore cleaner.

i found this travelodge very friendly but small, the room had a double bed and a bed settee and an onsuite bathroom with shower. Could be cleaner as the limescale in the bath was awful. we booked on the phone and were charged an extra night than we requested, but it was a roof over our head and well situated just off the m25.

I’ve stayed at a few Travelodges so I know what to expect but this one is the worst. It feels like you are buried underneath the Motorway Services and to be honest I didn’t feel safe especially when I found the receptionist locked behind what looked like the sort of screen you’d see a bank cashier behind. The bed was comfortable but I couldn’t get away quick enough in the morning.
