Grantham Museum

A definate to spend 45 mutes or so.
Some interesting artefacts and local information.

It may not be the British Museum, but admission is free! Actually in all the time I have been in Grantham, I had never been to the Grantham Museum, until my friend from London came up to visit. It was her idea to go in… thanks Angela! When we went in there was an interesting exhibit on Lincolnshire’s history with the RAF. I thought it was really well done and enjoyed learning about it.
The rest of the museum is dedicated to rural life, Margaret Thatcher, and Isaac Newton. If you bring children, they will probably enjoy the Isaac Newton part of the museum the most as it is interactive with little experiments they can try and little fun facts dotted around the room. I’m not sure how often the exhibits rotate, but if you have a bit of time, stop in (it isn’t an all day affair).
