As far as the actual coffee goes, it’s pretty average — despite this chain’s slogan of no one makes coffee like Costa makes coffee or we make it better! Their prices aren’t cheap either.
But this is a fairly pleasant and often very busy, modern, comfortable place to catch up with friends in the centre of Grantham.
The company also prides itself on supporting growers in the Third World, with it’s own foundation to support coffee-​growing communities in Colombia, Ethiopia, Uganda, Guatemala and Costa Rica. All admirable stuff.
I do wish they’d learn to make an above average cuppa instore though!
